Evangelization

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is arranged into four parts: the Creed, the Sacred Liturgy, with pride of place given to the sacraments; the Christian way of life, explained beginning with the Ten Commandments; and finally, Christian prayer.

Catechism Classes for Children in grade 1 to grade 7 are held every Sunday from 08h30 to 09h15 during the Government School terms.
Registration for 2024 will take place on Sunday the 21st January from 08h30 to 11h30

Confirmation classes for children from grade 8 takes place on Monday evenings from 18h00 to 19h00 

Catechism 

An international non-denominational youth programme helping young people to grow in their faith through all phases of their life. Meetings will resume shortly, we thank you for your patience. Please call René Minnaar for more infomation.

Through Catechism children are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation or Confession, First Holy Communion and then Confirmation. Should you have questions regarding your child's journey of faith please contact Cherryl or the Parish  Office 

Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is available for children that have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a three year program starting in the  school year of grade 8. Should you have questions regarding your child's journey of faith please contact Cherryl or the Parish Office

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a Catechism program for young adults or any person wishing to participate in the Catholic Faith. Through this program the candidates  are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation/ Confession, the Blessed Eucharist /Holy Communion and Confirmation. Classes begin after Easter every year.  An intense program is followed to assist candidates in their journey to complete their participation in the Catholic Faith.
